I had A Blue Ox installed on our much longer 35 foot Keystone Bullet TT. It worked as designed. Was a breeze to take on and off. The tongue jack is raised in order to take tension off the bars for removal. The bars always stayed in place on ours.
Unfortunately, our trailer needed a premium hitch as a 35 foot sail is not pleasurable to tow in 30 mph crosswinds. One windy day opened my eyes. All the weight distrubution hitches in this class are sway CONTROL devices. I needed sway ELIMINATION.
So I called Hensley and smile everytime I tow now. Best part is I no longer think about the winds, inclines, declines, commercial traffic, etc. It's the closest thing you can get to have your TT behave like a 5th wheel without actually towing one.
