We have a Winnebago 35' Trailer with a Blue Ox Hitch...I have over 6500km towing on the trailer over this past summer. Passing trucks, cross winds & backing have a minimal effect on the whole rig.
We also raise the tongue to ease the tension on the bars before connecting or disconnecting the assy.
Our handle has a 2" offset making it easy (and safe) to set or disconnect the chain attachment(s)....just take your time, slow and controlled is good!
I've never driven the TT without the Blue Ox, so I can't comment on how effective it is, but I'm (reasonably) comfortable towing in windy and heavy traffic conditions.
I'd buy another....!
