With tens of thousands of Blue Ox Sway Pro systems in use that in itself should tell you something. Blue Ox is hardly new to the game, offering many other products as well as the Sway Pro, so if speaking directly to a company rep hasn't helped resolve any issues you may be having that should also tell you something. You would think that the dealer,
Peterborough RV, after hearing me complain about it many times, would step up to the plate and try to figure out what is going on. Since they admit they have never installed one of these, I'm thinking the installation was done poorly or incorrectly. I'm no mechanic. I went to dealer to avoid installing it myself. I paid them to install it. And you have read what I ended up with.
When I called Blue Ox, the rep was fine and said they can't refund my money and take the product back as that transaction was handled by my dealer and if I want to return it, that's between me and
Peterborough RV. Peterborough RV quickly told me no returns on open or used products are accepted and I'm stuck with it.
If I had tons of money at my disposal I would have went to a better dealer and had the system replaced and either scrapped the Blue Ox or attempted to sell it. I don't have an extra $1,000+ to throw away at the moment so I have been trying to work through the issues.
Part of my reason for posting here is to vent my frustration with the entire ordeal and to further emphasize to Blue Ox and
Peterborough RV that there is real problem here and they should step up and make it right instead of telling me I'm "stuck with it" because returns aren't allowed on open or used equipment.
