In trying to understand the problem with your Sway Pro I read through your original post again and have to ask why, considering you knew at the time of installation, that there was an issue with one of the rotating brackets why did you leave the dealership under those circumstances?
Because I had no idea why the latch was coming loose and I had no idea if the installer was seating the chain link in the rotating latch properly. I wasn't watching him through the entire process. Installer felt everything was good in the end so I left.
Finally, since you have a friend who owns a Sway Pro who is reportedly satisfied with his I'd echo the suggestion you compare yours to his to figure out just why you're having so much difficulty.
