Oh well, they all break eventually.
On a positive note, my new 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is scheduled for a late December or early January delivery. :)
Since I've had the truck, I've replaced/repaired:
- pretty much the whole front end - tie rods & drag link - upgraded to the 2009 4500/5500 assembly, ball joints (all warranty)
- steering box - cash out of pocket
- some wire fixes in the rear doors - did these myself
- front drive shaft (warranty)
and that's it. Not bad service out of it so far.
Your truck lived a pretty rough life before you got it too didn't it?
Yes, it was an oilfield truck. Started in October, idled until April (free fuel).
