IB, I changed mine around 85k just because I was changing the serpentine belt, and i carry both the old belt and pump in the truck as spares. I heard a first hand report last year of an older couple paying $1000 to have theirs replaced during a summer trip to AK somewhere in the southern Yukon just outside of B.C.
