I think your snowball is just beginning to roll.
Ive had mine for almost two years and it seem like i have to get a part every other week for it. Sway bar links and a steering stabilizer out on the bench for it as I type. Previous owner hacked the trailer wiring and I got a simple kit to remedy it since there is something wrong with what was left. First kit has gone bad as I didnt have any right side turn on the trailer. Got another one (got snookered with an off brand through someone on ebay) and it started smoking when it was being used and got damp from some rain we had early in the week. That unit never worked right anyway. Just hadnt gotten another unit to replace. BTW the latest unit was only on the truck for about a week. Lets see... new vent doors in the dash, tps on the motor, (thats the only thing I have had to do the motor) tranny serviced, new tailshaft seal in the transfer case. New bearings and seals in the rear end. New tires all the way around, I know its wear and tear. New tranny cooler. New tranny line coming off the cooler which you can only buy from Dodge. New brakes and rotors on the rear. The list goes on and on. Ive had it since Janurary 2012 and all this with only 42000 miles by me.
Im going to look at getting something different tomorrow morning. Time for a trade to avoid Uncle Sam payments.
