As I said on other forms discussing this very same topic, it all boils down the the owners expectations and towing standards. Not everyone's expectations or towing standards (or towing terrain) are the same so of course there will be different opinions about this motor.
Do I think this thing can tow it's max rated 15k (or even 12k for that mater) going by my expectations and towing standards? No, which is why I paid more up front for a diesel and would do so a thousand times over. However, my standards and expectations of what a tow vehicle should do when loaded is different than others. Some people are fine with how gas vehicles tow and some are not........ Well, I really cannot say that anymore since there is one gas engine that did live up to my expectations and standards when towing heavy compared to its ratings and that was my Ecoboost so I should change that to...... Some people are fine with how a N/A engines tows and some people prefer FI.
