I think some of you have misunderstood the reason for my post. It was not to "justify" any thing. I am perfectly comfortable with my decision process and my experience to make a decision that is best for me. This was also not meant to be another Diesel vs Gasoline thread. I am well aware of the pros and cons of both engines. I chose the gas engine for a variety of reasons, reasons for me, but may not apply to everyone.
The reason for my post was to write about my experience with this truck, how it has pulled vs what I have used in the past. And how I have come to formulate my opinions. My background and experience I believe was necessary to help readers understand how I came to my opinions. I hope this thread will give potential buyers some more information from an owner about this truck and engine combination. There are to many opinions from non owners that don't believe it is a capable truck because it is not diesel or turbocharged. This tow vehicle is not for everyone and I never said it was. But as an owner I do believe it is a very capable TV that would serve many travelers very well. And I do believe its tow rating to be accurate based off my experience.
At the end of the day the only thing that is important is that you are happy!!!
