We currently own a 2003 Dodge 3500 4x4 5.9 diesel that we bought new and it has 235 HP and 460 pounds of torque. We use it to tow a horse trailer with a 7500 GVW and we will never go bigger. We do not have any interest in purchasing a new diesel due to their cost and complexity.
Since our next truck with be a gasser we enjoy reading about the experiences of people who own and use either a 6.4, 6.2, or 6.0 V-8.
100% agree.
Seems these diesel guys have learned a thing or two from the political playbook. At the mere mention of anything other than what they believe, they immediately go into attack mode to shout down the other person and attempt to intimidate and belittle with the goal to keep those who have different opinons from paticpating.
Please do not put all "diesel guys" in the same boat! Not all of us are so "defensive" as you have painted. I rather enjoyed skidooman93's OP found it both honest and informed. Not here to justify my preference for diesel or gas other then at time when purchasing the 2013 Ram I have currently, the diesel was same price as the gasoline version.
