- bikepsychExplorerLooking sharp. I have an 89RB on my F250. It really does handle well. Looking forward to seeing your trip reports.

- Tom_OrlowskiExplorerWell that is the thing. When our kids were small we had a travel trailer at a campground in Vermont as a seasonal. We would pull out and hit the road . Then we gave the seasonal up and just went differant places. Now our kids are older. One in college, the other in High School. The travel trailer doesn't get the use it used too. Growing up my dad had a slide in truck camper that we used when I was a kid. I always like the ability to stop when you wanted. My wife more times years ago towing the trailer wanted to stop along the way to a destination. However with a 30ft traler it was always a pain I would rather live without. Now its possible. Also my younger daughter and I atv ride in NH. Having the truck camper is a huge plus for a young ladie when you get back to the patking lot after a ride. It is such a huge conveniece.
- SugarHillCTDExplorerNice camper!
About 12+ years ago our first TC was an Adventurer 810ws very similar to your layout. We really liked it but our kids were growing like nuts and we went to a TT for a few years.
Best of luck with it and happy travels. - Tom_OrlowskiExplorerThe truck was bought new by me in 2000. It has 136,000 miles on it. I bought it with the 7.4 litre. I have taken very good care of it. This is all part of a Master plan. First the camper. Then a new truck in about 3 or 4 years. I have 6 more years until retirement at age 55. I do alot of duck hunting as well as retriever hunt testing in the off season. This will help with those road trips away from home.

How does it ride? It looks like a long bed camper on a short bed truck, is that right? Does it feel like the front of the truck wants to come up a lot on bumps?
I've got an Adventurer 86FB that is very similar and it too is designed for long or short bed trucks. COG is right over the axle and truck handling is very good.
Nice looking combo by the way! - jimh406Explorer IIICongratulations, nice looking combo.
- Victory402ExplorerVery nice set up!

Very nice. - Tom_OrlowskiExplorerThe camper is designed for short or long bed. I'm not sure if it shows in the picture. However the center of gravity arrows are just at the center of the axle. Rides great. We brought it home on a Friday. That Sunday we took it to the Fryeburg fair. Handled great.Very pleased. Was an upgrade from our 2008 Travel Lite 840 SBR.
