My scaled weight, with trailer

Like 2blazers, closed scale near Scio coming back from a weekend ride.

My truck:

2007.5 Ram 2500 megacab. Lower stableloads, Air Ride air bags, 19.5 Vision Wheels, Michelin 285/70 XDS 2 tires, Bilstein shocks. Wife, myself, 3 kiddos and two dogs, half tank of diesel 32" supertruss and torklift frame mounts/XL turnbuckles.

Camper:

2016 Wolf Creek 840, dual six volts, Fox Landing, full fresh water tank, 1/3 black/grey, food, drinks, camping stuff.

Trailer:

2015 dual axle car hauler, 16 foot. Spare tire, tool box with 100 pounds of tools/spare parts, camp chairs, 5 gallon fuel cell, 5 gallon fresh water,.

2015 Polaris RZR XP4 1000 with a full tank of fuel (10 gallons).

Front axle, 4500 lbs.

Rear axle, 8200 lbs.

Trailer is 3000 lbs on the axles.

15,700 lbs combined.

Did not have the two quads and dirt bike on this trip.
  • To answer questions:

This is without WD bars. I'll play with them some next time, would like to see a few hundred moved to the front axle, but my trailer isn't heavy enough for that.

Tires have 6395 lbs of capacity, as pointed out the wheels are my limiting factor and I'm fine with that.

It drives much better for sure! I wasn't white knuckle at though before, a lot more squirm due to the tires but it wasn't scary. The weight was though and I'm glad to have the 19.5's!!!!

WD bars will transfer some of the load from your rear axle onto trailer axle(s).

Is there a formula that works with the super truss to know if it worth messing with? I don't have a bunch of weight...300-350 lbs of weight.
