My spray port is a bit different - how to winterize it?
Hi,
We bought our new to us 2008 Gulf Breeze in the spring, from a dealer 2hrs away from home.
This summer, when I used the spray port for the 1st time, the water was scalding hot. I looked inside, and for some reason, the previous owner (or dealer) connected the spray port outlet to the hot water pipe rather than the cold! Weird! I did not bother with that as we don't use it very much - and eventually, I will do the switch... when I feel like doing it in the small space...
In the meantime, I'm getting ready to winterize.
My (stupid) question is: when I'm ready to winterize - and bypass the water heater tank - do I treat the spray port the same way I will do with the other hot water faucets in the trailer and pump pink RV antifreeze through that port?
