This gave me something to do, have you driven thru NM and some of the other States along that route? Really NOT much to look at.
I can say Illinois and Indiana have won the title for worst roads along the trip!
Got on a toll road from OK City that took us to the NE corner of the State and one from near Chicago to Elkhart. Pretty cool once you got on there were no exits to speak of and the services were in between the highway a lot of time. You could really cover some ground at 75 and no one coming on and off the freeway.
Since your this close, maybe you should wander up to Northern Michigan (and see Sleeping Bears Dune and Mackinac Island), so we know who has the worst roads!
