This gave me something to do, have you driven thru NM and some of the other States along that route? Really NOT much to look at.
I can say Illinois and Indiana have won the title for worst roads along the trip!
Got on a toll road from OK City that took us to the NE corner of the State and one from near Chicago to Elkhart. Pretty cool once you got on there were no exits to speak of and the services were in between the highway a lot of time. You could really cover some ground at 75 and no one coming on and off the freeway.
stopped traffic... Sears tower.

Have to agree with you on the roads of Illinois and Indiana, as for toll roads I avoided them as the transporter I contracted to would only pay for "loaded tolls". The drive through downtown Chicago was "fun". My observation of truck brands was closer to 50/50 Ram and Ford with GM bringing up a very low third. Would have thought GMs would have been higher in numbers as that would be the truck I'd have for highway driving due to its ride comfort. There is one transporter company I believe DASH that use mostly Fords, at least that's what I saw. As for trucks with "training wheels" far more SRW then DRW. Did see a number of "fools" transporting those "park models" with SRW.
