In regards to the 2014 link, there is no definition of how cars.com obtained the the sales breakout. Ford, FCA, and GM provide a total number. I can tell you that the GM numbers were not correct. I can not share the correct number. As noted, the only source that could define these breakouts and type of customer would be IHS from registration data. However, not all vehicles are registered in the same timeframe as delivered. Also, not all states allow IHS all the customer data.
