Not according to your brethren. According to you guys every municipal in the country has switched to Ram so which is it. Just accept the fact that there are more Super Duty's on the road and likely many of them pull RVs. Every campground I've been to shows good representation from Ford and Ram with a few GMs sprinkled in. Unfortunately, you guys keep making wild assertions that you never see a Ford pulling a RV or if you do it must be on a blue moon.
You've obviously confused me with someone who cares. But I guess I'll play along until this thread gets closed.
I am a "brethren" of no particular brand mafia.
I've never hear the claim that municipalities are going strong toward the Ram trucks. I work with municipal agencies all over the state. They use whatever is low bid...PERIOD. If its Ram, then so be it. If its Ford, then so be it. The biggest municipal agency in our region is all Ford. My local town uses whatever they can find cheap at auction. I've monitored bid activity on truck sales, and its common for the Ford dealers to be the only bidders.
I stand in solidarity with Cummins12V98 (on this issue only LOL), Ram trucks far outweigh the competition on the sheer quantity of vehicles used by haulers and RV'ers. For the Fords, you're going to see as many 7.3L Super Duties as you will the other 3 newer engines.
