Yes, good premium Headlights have such a function (mode) But the stock, or Chinese headlights, unfortunately, can not boast of it. They certainly have a certain heat. But no more.
???:h - Wow.... That's some serious ice build up in that fender.

Daryll - ACZLExplorerI may get chastised here, but I run/use a winter front on my Ford to keep ice/snow/salt out of the radiators. Plus I replaced the tube steps from Ford w/ full length diamond plate running boards to keep snow/ice from hitting rocker panels, plus gives you more surface area to step on.
As for the ice build up on headlights like OP's, I get that all the time here in CNY when it's parked. Have no clue how it happens just sitting besides garage but it does. Melts off eventually. As for the ice on OP's truck, I will side w/ other posters that it will melt in several months. Biggest concern I'd have is keeping fuel from gelling.
To add to the poster who drove from Colorado to MN and 22*. You can have 22* and it feels arm (so to speak). Then you can have 22* and damp and it goes right thru you. We say the same thing here in CNY that when it's 90* we are sweatin' like pigs, but the same 90* in AZ wouldn't seem to feel as hot. Nuts huh? LOL - alexleblancExplorer

For you guys with LED headlights, are the concerns I’ve heard about them not generating enough heat to keep the lights clear of ice and frost true?
normally they will but with the cold temps and so much salty wet brine on the road they keep icing up, its a perfect storm of weather!
just look at the buildup on the center cap and also in the wheel wells, its absolutely insane. - Bionic_ManExplorer

I was going to ask the same thing. I drove through a ice storm today in Iowa with a rented Jag F-type (great rental upgrade). The front end looked like yours at my first stop. The DRL weren't warm enough to keep them clean. I don't know about the full time head lights. - blofgrenExplorerYikes. I heard on the radio this morning that Niagara Falls is starting to freeze.
Here on the West coast we are having a mild winter with no snow.....so far. Come on spring!!
