After weighing my F150, with 5 people in it, and the 274BH with a full water tank, we determined that in order to safely tow, we will take a second vehicle for the passengers.
My opinion based on my findings, Forget the SUV, and get a dedicated TV. Take a second vehicle to carry the passengers, or split them up between the two. Better yet, buy the SUV you like that will be the daily driver and rent a pickup to tow with. I still say the best option is to find an early 03 Excursion with the 7.3 Powerstroke, nothing newer than that due to the 6.0 being a POS motor.
