Airstream's are low to the ground....

I just sold a small hybrid trailer that had one easy step.

Honestly. This would probably be your best bet. Having a TT that sits close to the ground makes for a bad towing experience. Why? you may ask.
Because they drag. Every time you start up an incline. The rear drags, turn into a gas station up a slight hill it drags. Mine set low, and drug nearly every trip. So much so, that I had the spring mounts moved to the top of the axles to keep it off the ground.

Ground clearance becomes an issue particularly with speed bumps in campgrounds. Our first trailer was quite low, I graded the camp site more than once with the bumper and tore off a stabilizer jack.

Might have to go with an R pod or something along those lines.

You won't find any other camper that will get closer to the ground than a Minnesota built Ice House.

Do a Google search on "Ice House RV" and search YouTube too. You simply can't get closer to the ground than with these models.

There are many small TT's that have one step or two. Usually single axle and the step(s) are the pull out kind. You sacrifice interior space and step sturdiness though as they bounce. I have a neighbor that has a 2018 Jayco Jay Flight SLX that's 21.8' in length and has one step.

Coleman FQ17 is low to the ground with only one step.

Downside it's a bit of a challenge to empty the wastewater tanks in poorly designed dump. Also seems not meant for boondocks if you scared of ruining and breaking the dark and gray sewer pipes.

Airstream. One step outside and none inside. Class Cs have a total of three; two out and one in.
