RV Geeks has a great video on cleaning windshields. Use 0000 steel wool until the windshield is smooth. Then use a good cleaner like Windex and finish up with a good coating of RainX (sp?). They also talk about wipers and how to keep them fresh and working longer. You will find it on YouTube.
