I do already have an excellent tent, but after watching a video of two people throwing a fly over the top of the tent it dawned on me just how high today's trucks are for a short person like me who would have to do it along. I'd need to bring along a big step ladder. That's why I was thinking of the canvas Kodiac truck bed tent. No need for a fly and it is supposed to be a three season tent so it may be comfortable in cold weather with a small heater inside. There remains, of course, the problem of knocking everything down when I need to use the truck. I think I will just need to drag my ground tent along until I find a solution. It is still a little too early to go camping so I do have time to check around and see what other people in the same situation are doing.
