Need Help Finding Awning For Camper

Hi, we have a 2004 Frontier bumper pull travel trailer (camper). The awning is messed up on it. We are considering replacing either just the fabric or the entire awning mechanism with the fabric. Is this something that we have to buy that is specific just for our camper? Or, can we buy a generic awning that is the same size as ours? If we can buy a generic awning, where is a good place (online or other) to get one that is not too expensive? Thank you very much for your help.

  • Google "Carefree of Colorado", Or "Dometic awning" OR just RV awning. You will find ALL the information you desire.
They are not as expensive as you think
  • First step is to find out what brand awning you have. Replacement parts are most likely available for it. There will be a huge number of awnings "for your Frontier travel trailer". Awnings are usually sized in increments of 1' or 2'.

Asking a question of "do you know what will fit my Frontier trailer" is too general of a question. We need to know what size the awning is, but knowing that, you answered your own question. LOL.
  • Thank you very much Flaguy. We will check them out. Do you have any idea how much the awning fabric or the entire awning mechanism with the fabric that would fit our Frontier camper would cost? Thanks again.
