I would cut the pipe, install Sharkbite/Gatorbite fittings and flex connectors same as at home.
Otherwise you need to remove the pipe before you remove the faucet nut.
In tight quarters you may need a faucet wrench.

If you reuse the existing fittings be sure to at least get a new cone washer.
