"Siping" tires has its place, and that's if doing a lot of ice driving with tires that have poor ice traction. Since you only use the truck when your traveling /towing and you don't do much of that in bad weather, then you have no need at all to have them sipped. My experience with siping is it causes the tire tread to wear slightly quicker when using them all summer long.
