I am not a fan of siping if you drive any dirt roads, especially when towing. It accelerates the wear. For a highway only tire it's good.
Lots of tire opinions. I like Les Schwab, but sometimes the price delta is too much. I am currently back to Schwabs on my TV and will be for my winter studless tires on the DD this winter. The customer service is excellent.
If you don't have a Schwab near home then the added cost may not be worth it.
