I run Toyo M55 on mine, but I am running 75% off road and 25% highway, as for the sipping causing premature wearing... not so, at least not on the M55, have almost 22,000 miles on them, they are just beginning to show wear. I have BFGs, Dick Cepek FC II, Cooper SST, Goodyear and some other goofy brand tire... I am really liking these Toyo M55, great in the snow and mud, so so (best out of all the tires I used) on ice, and very quiet (again compared to the others) on the high way. Not bad for a fairly decent aggressive tread.
