It is probably a regional or dealer thing but I have never been able to get a better deal from Discount over Costco around here. Just today I shopped tires for my Ridgeline and Costco was $100 less for the same tire with everything the same. And their service has been great.
I agree I have purchased several sets from Costco.. That was in the Nevada so I will compare in NW WA and see what difference there is.
