You like your old vehicle right? You maintain it right? You trust it right? All you need to do is find a similarly maintained vehicle. They do exist.
More than once, I traded a good vehicle just because I wanted a different type. I’m sure there are others trading their otherwise good vehicles as well.
For instance, my 450 was about half price of a new one. Sure, it had 95K miles on it. 35K buys a lot of stuff even if it didn’t have the new car/truck smell. :)
Similarly, you can find an older TC that has been maintained for much off the price of a new one. No, it won’t be the newest design, but if the TC is sound the only thing left are the appliances. As we all know, the appliances don’t have long warranties in any case and could just as well fail 2 years after you get the new one ... just out of warranty.
