I work in the warranty department for a supplier to the RV industry. Typically the time allotted to repair is determined for the specific issue/replacement of parts and any additional time requested by the dealer could cause delays. IMO it will not speed up the process by the dealer having the retail customer call the manufacturer. If you do choose to call Dutchmen ask the dealership why they feel that the additional labor is needed. If it was me and this is the dealer I purchased the unit from I would insist that they get it fixed and then they can figure out the labor issue with Dutchmen. Its not the retail customers problem.
