I agree with this. I'm actually surprised that so many are Rancho fans. Rancho shocks are made by Monroe anyway, and are a twin-tube design just like cheap OEM-style shocks.
If you're not getting a monotube shock, you're just getting ripped off. The KYB Mono-max and the Bilsteins are monotube.
