Of course you're speaking from personal experience based on running a set of Goodyear Endurance tires on your own trailer - right? :W
Funny thing is I have been running a set of Endurance on my own trailer for a couple of months now and haven't noticed that "harsher ride" you speak of - in fact, cold inflated to the maximum 65 p.s.i. for my ST205/75 R14s, the trailer tows far more smoothly than it ever did with the previous set of off shore, soft sidewall tires. Sidewall flex? - if you'd even bothered to check (as I have) you'd find that Endurance tires have a MUCH stiffer sidewall than any competing tire, including GY's own previous Marathon and the Carlisle HD. The OP would do well to cold inflate his own Endurance tires to the maximum rated for his tire size.
