Need some F150 tow mirrors

Can anyone offer any recommendations for tow mirrors for a 2010 F150? I have been shopping all over online and there are many options available, it would be nice to hear from someone with experience.

Thanks!
  • The link I posted above ( 1A auto ) I bought a pair of those for my Nissan truck three years ago. They work just like the OEM Ford mirrors do on our F350 dually. I'm happy with the set I have on the Nissan.
I too tried various "add-on" mirrors over the years, none of which I liked.

I am pretty sure that you will not be able to retrofit F250/350 mirrors onto a F150 door WITHOUT MAJOR MODIFICATIONS and even then look pretty darn rednecky.

The doors between F150 and F250/350 ARE different so it isn't going to be a simple swap and done project..

I would suggest perhaps looking around for some aftermarket F150 towing mirrors which would be a direct fit.

    Like THIS

Found HERE at $250 for the pair.

Yeah, I get it, $250 IS a lot, but I can tell you this, I HAD a pair of CIPA slide on mirrors and they ARE JUNK.

Pretty much any slide on mirror WILL vibrate, quite a bit.

They ARE a pain in the behind to put on and take off

They ARE a pain in the rear for folding in as in you CAN'T FOLD THE MIRROR IN WITH THE CIPAS ON.

Because the prevent your mirror from folding in you are risking breaking off the mirror if you hit an object or an object hits your mirror.

You can also get the mirrors I linked above with turn signal, puddle light and heated if you want an upgrade for $440 HERE

Why waste your time and money with trying to find used F250/350 mirrors then have to butcher up your door and mirrors to force something that was never designed for into working when there are already after market mirrors available that should be a direct fit?
  • I had a set of factory GM towing mirrors on my Avalanche but they wouldn't fit my '12 Silverado so this time around I went with a set of inexpensive CIPA mirrors ... not as good as factory because with each mirror you're looking at 2 mirrors which is a bit disconcerting but considering the price they're "good enough", image is quite clear, little vibration, and the stock electric mirrors to which they're affixed can still be retracted with no interference. :)

So google CIPA towing mirrors. They are not expensive. They are custom made for your truck. Slip on, and off easily. Do not vibrate. All you got to do is pick the ones that fit over your stock mirrors, and tot op it all. Your turn signals, and regular mirrors will still be exposed. I have some. they work great

    What Terry said^^^^^^
I just brought a pair for my new F-150 and they are very nice. Was going to go the OEM route but to me, gigantic tow mirrors just take away from the trucks looks. Cheers

So the ones like mine, that will fit your truck, are $63.61 per pair. Plus shipping.

Ditto just what I was going to say.

  • I'd try to track down some of the factory tow mirrors. Ford has had the best towing mirrors for years, imo.
