I am on my fourth 3800. 1 N/A. 3 supercharged. The N/A one I put 280,000 on. the last two supercharged ones 420,000 total.
Pay the 150 bucks. You will not fix it with a patch. I race the things and run in a really good 3800 club. DON'T cheap out.
I have not seen one work successfully in any of the guys cars that I race with.
