If you don't want to deal with SF traffic at all you can safely park on the surface streets of Dublin or Pleasanton in the east bay and ride the BART train into SF, you can also stay at the RV Park at the nearby Alameda County Fairgrounds. The Powell and Embarcadero street stations put you downtown with an easy walk to AT&T park, Fishermans Warf and Chinatown. or take the N Juda Streetcar from the Powell street station which will take you up to Golden Gate Park.

Conversely you can park for free at Crissy Field in the Presideo right on the bay and walk to the Golden Gate Bridge or to Fishermans Warf.
