Just a note on "removing camper" to tour SF with just your truck, we have stayed at Marin RV park and others near SF and most will not let you remove your camper so ask first before you make plans to remove your camper. It's not an issue for us but when asked they all state it is an insurance requirement. They are probably worried about them tipping over in an earthquake!
