- Charlie_D_ExplorerI see comments and some pictures of tires getting good mileage. Looking at some of the profiles of posters I see many are running 1/2 tons. Some are bumper pulls or light 5ers.
I see many on this and other forums saying they don't get the same mileage as the 1/2 tons. I am one of those who get poor mileage and doing everything right on my 3/4 ton. I have had the BFG Commercial T/A's-2 sets. Tranforce HT's. Coopers HT3's and several others. - john_betExplorer III tried a set of Firestones too on my '04 Dodge 2500 after 3 set of Michilens. Not happy either. Went back to Michelins. The new Ram 3500 has Firestones on it so we shall se how they perform. If not happy then it will be Michelins again.
- larry_barnhartExplorerOur rear tires are 2011 date and I haven't checked the miles on them lately but they will be replaced if we travel south this winter season. Defenders on the front last September just because of safety.

YUP, great tire properly inflated and rotated. - AtleeExplorer IIThis is a picture of the tread on my BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A. I have 52k miles on them.
- AtleeExplorer IIProbably not regular F150's, but they do with F150's that have the Heavy Duty Payload Package.
Up through 2014, Ford put LRE LT's on the HDPP models. However, I think Ford dropped back to LRD LT's on the 2015 and later models.Charlie D. wrote:

I have 52K miles on my OEM LT245/75R17 LRE BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A tires. And they are still looking good. No cracks and plenty of rubber left.
At this point, I'm happy enough with them, I'd put the same or comparable tires back on.
Wasn't aware that LT tires came on F-150's - Charlie_D_Explorer

Another vote for the Nitto Dura Grapplers. I replaced the original BFG on my 08 MegaCab with these. Great tire, quiet and smooth. Have about 40k on them now, still lots to go
Looks like a good tire
Interested. Can't find a warranty on them. - Ron3rdExplorer III

At least 100K on these 4th 2010 take offs on my last 98 12V RAM 2wd.
What size and style are these?
Forget size but they are 17". Stock size on 2010 3500 RAM they came off of. I think they are Long Trail? I had a couple other sets make it 100k on my other 98 RAM.
