Need to replace my water pump (looking for advice)

I need to replace my water pump. The old one still functions but looses pressure and allows back feeding of water.
I currently have this pump installed which is the original and to be replaced.

This is the pump I am thinking on replacing it with. It seems to get good reviews and is reasonably priced.

It has similar specs, but the new one would have 50psi where the old one only has 40psi. Is that going to cause problems?

Do you think this is a good replacement?

I have a KZ Sportsmen 19BH so I don't need a real powerful pump. Let me know what you think?
  • I purchased the SHURFLO Revolution pump. Should be here in a couple days. Just in time to winterize the trailer.
  • It comes with several fittings. Here is a user review showing the fittings that come with it. Also, the pump you link to has an even higher PSI rating of 55. Is that going to overload my RV plumbing as the old one is only 40psi?

  • Those two pumps have different style input / output fittings. Since your current pump has 1/2" NPT I'd instead install a Shurflo Revolution pump - a great pump with the same fittings.
