Netboy's Camper Project Page has been moved (again)

Hey you-all, wanted to let you know that my Camper Project Page has (another) new address as of today:

http://netboy.16mb.com

For years the page was on Comcast (http://home.comcast.net/~netboy/) but they recently discontinued their web hosting for members service, so I had to move the page.

PLEASE NOTE that I had the page at another host (byethost6.com) for the last couple of months, but that service turned out to be flaky so I just now moved the page to the 16mb.com host. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best wishes, Netboy

This is just his way of 'advertising' his website to drive traffic to make money, nothing more. Not allowed on RV.net.

Only posts are of his website link. And this one is NOT updating a new web address. Just using RVnet for advertising to increase traffic to his site.

UPDATE: I had to move Netboy's The Camper Project Page again - it is now at http://netboy.16mb.com -- The previous "bethost6.com" host site didn't work out. There are no ads on Netboy's site to generate revenue. You are mistaken if you think just visiting his site is somehow making him money and I will put you to task to prove me wrong.

This forum member is sharing his knowledge and passion of TC's and you do not need to visit the site if it somehow offends you.
  • I'm not understanding the value added to "this" site if the only post by the OP is a link to his home page. It seems the same thing would be accomplished by updating his profile instead of creating a new one and posting that he has a new webpage.

Are you serious? Netboy has been around for years- (previous handle was Netboy) circumstances (his original host Comcast no longer hosting web pages) caused him to move his page. That host ended up redirecting to questionable page so Netboy moved it again. Just a heads up.

UPDATE 07/2019:- Netboys site closed about 11/2018...
copy of his original page can be seen on the internet archive WaybackMachine site

Hi rockhillmanor, I was a senior and very active member on this forum for years - the old timers here remember me quite well. There is absolutely zero advertising on my page - just documentation of the many DIY projects I did on my Lance camper. The page had been up on my free Comcast web space since 2004, and has had over a quarter million visits by forum members over the years who have provided hundreds and hundreds of "Thanks for the ideas" postings and PM's. But a couple of months ago Comcast discontinued providing free web space for their internet subscribers, so I moved the page to a free web hosting site. Then last night I found (thanks to a heads-up from senior member AnEv942) that my page was gone, and when visiting the link adult content instead appeared. So I spent several hours moving the page to another free hosting site. BTW, I'm not trying to drive traffic - if I get over a few hundred hits per month the free hosting sites don't continue to be free.

This has been a frustrating process.

    Best wishes, Netboy...

Thanks for the link - lots of reading to do there... I love this kinds of projects... If you don't know where your glasses are I think I found them on top of the speaker project haha...

I've been thinking about Truck campers for some time now. I guess yours does OK without duallys

Always fun doing things with all of the nook and crannies in these small foot print areas. I have similar on-going things with my OFF-ROAD POPUP trailer 12-foot box.
