My truck is a 2007 Chevy 2500HD with only 9200 GVWR and 6084 rear because of the OEM Range E's on 17" wheels. My camper is 4500 lbs. wet, so I definitely needed to upgrade to 19.5's to get up to 8000 lbs on the rear. I have Rancho 9000's, airbags and Torklift Stableloads, but no extra helper springs.
The new Chevy 3500HD SRW has 11,600 GVWR, but still only 7050 rear because of the Range E 18" wheels. The overleaf suspension would be a nice addition to my rig:
Yeah your TCs wet weight is heavier than mine. Definitely need 19.5s for sure. I wish my truck had that top overload. Is that factory bump stop and perches or did you have that aftermarket? Added a extra main leaf spring to each rear pack. sticker gvwr is 9000 but increased it to 9400 gvwr and made a big difference. Bilsteins shocks ,ride rite 5000 air bags, and 1 ton Helwig sway bar.
