Cutting the Filon too short definitely makes sense. I assume they knew this as the trailer was going doing the production line and "hoped for the best"
My biggest concern right now is parts availability and the time it will take to ship a big piece of Filon to South FL. It took them almost a month to send warranty parts that I didn't need and could have bought at Home Depot.
Unfortunately, I will have to give the dealer and the mfg a fair chance to resolve the issue within a reasonable amount of time. If things don't work out the way they should, then we will start the "process". Luckily, we have access to many resources in the legal field.
