New 2017 Superduties
They are showing the new truck at the Texas state fair and Pickup Truck magazine has 4 articles on the new trucks: Intro Design Powertrain Towing Looks like a big change.

Yes they need to pass emissions. They don't have to pass a fuel economy standard but that will soon change.
D'uh... brain fart. I mixed up emissions and fuel economy testing. My bad. They are still keeping the 6.2 liter though, that's good. I thought I had heard somewhere that they were ending production, hence my curiosity. Guess I was wrong about that too...
