bka0721, When I get a chance, I will be calling Lance Engineering in Lancaster and PM you with their answers. I have talked to them several times in the past. We are really busy presently as we are getting packed and ready to leave with our 5th wheel for our annual Florida wintering trip for 2-1/2 months and visiting our families living down there.
The above is why I'd found your post info very confusing.
Enough!
Hi Travelnutz. Actually I wasn't asking any questions and am not the OP. The information you shared is good to share here. I already apologized confusing you and hope you will accept that apology. No need to send me additional information as I am not in need of it, but others here could.
Safe travels to Florida and it would be a great place to winter, too!

I used metallic tape (others used expandable foam to seal the air gaps) and then I packed the valve compartment with Fiberglass batts. It made a dramatic difference in inside temperatures. I also have to storage compartments that have both external hatches and inside the living space access doors, under the dinette seats. again the use of fiberglass batts and weather stripping made a huge difference.
For many, with limited propane capacity, Buzzcut's post would be exactly what one should consider doing, as shown in his post. As well as the reflectex and foam for windows and vents. Best investment for the highest return in cold climes.

Not to hijack the thread either but trying to add to it... does Anyone want to chime in on or have any experience with hydronic heated floors and walls?...one step further...I have an older water heater and flojet pump I'm just so wanting to experiment with...Like a 50/50 closed glycol set up...has anyone tried?
Good question, KKELLER14K, and it certainly adds to the OP's question. A few years back there was a thread about swapping out the TC's furnace for a Glycol circulating pump. Not sure of the specifics as it was not something I was interested in. For me, I prefer keeping things simple and easily fixed out on the road. One of the posters here that took a Fuso and mounted two pods on a flatbed and lived in Washington state, Jet? I am sorry I can't remember his handle. But I recall he had radiant heat in his floor of his living compartment pod. If someone knew of that thread that would be a good one to add to this question.
OPed here, I am very lucky to meet many of the people that post on this forum and have grown to be friends with them too, even ones I disagree with and find common ground too. But when we kick back and sit under the stars at one of my many beautiful locations as they help rotate the beer in my fridge for me, there is often a common thread in that sometimes a person wonders why they would choose to contribute to this forum any longer. Or, as often as they once did. The exchange here on the OP's thread of "A few winter questions" might be an exhibit of that fireside talk.
All the best.
