I can tell you this we have been camping on and off for 30 years......... We have the greatest family memories...... Our oldest learned to ride his bike in a campground........We still talk about the old times and the new ones we are creating. Our boys & daughter in law are in their 20s & still go with us. We have a new grandson & are looking forward to more new memories........
The where is not as important as the being together & outdoors........ What ever works for your family will be great & yes you may change your mind on a few things along the way but that is OK too.
