I'll be Debbie Downer here. With your large, growing family, a travel trailer that small will be claustrophobic in no time. We bought a small travel trailer as our first TT with two kids, and we traded it after only 3 trips. It could sleep everyone, and it had a bathroom, but that was it. A rainy day? Forget about it! Just because a camper says it can sleep x-amount of people, doesn't mean it can, unless they're very small children (especially dinettes and jacknife sofas). Children grow - rapidly!
I would seriously look at getting a large pop up camper instead, which your Explorer should be able to handle. The beds are bigger, and the big PUPS also have a sofa and dinette (which can even be on a slideout) that can sleep even more people. They even come with toilet/shower combinations. The new ones come with automatic lift systems - a far cry better than when we had our PUP way back when.
