Yes, we are tent campers right now. I am confident that the small trailer will feel like a luxury. We did look at some larger trailers and even rented a 34 foot class A rv and drove it to california and back this past summer. It was just too large. Way more than we needed (and we took my inlaws with us, so there were 8 of us in there....my youngest son still slept on the floor b/c he preferred it, and one of my other children slept in bed with me). I'm not opposed to kids sleeping in tents at all as they grow, or want to bring friends along.
I'm pretty adamant about no tent ends. B/c I want a bathroom in my trailer (at my campsite) and I don't want to deal with having to re-set up the trailer once we get home to dry out any tent material if it rained or dewed on the canvas.
