Oh the reason is the fabric deleminated at the top part. This is the part that is in the sun all the time when its rolled up.. I used gorilla tape to stop the lamination peeling. This lasted two years. Now the tape has shrunk I assume.
So now the awning will not roll up straight. I can no longer lock the arms in place because its way off when rolling up..
