https://nikolamotor.com/press_releases/nikola-corporation-to-unveil-game-changing-battery-cell-technology-at-nikola-world-2020-67 - Production is a long way off. If it is real and can be mass produced Nikola will have a huge advantage.
- IdaDExplorerI like my diesel truck but more juice in my iPhone would be great.
- naturistNomadTaking a lesson from the software makers, I say “sounds great. I’ll believe it when I see it.” Until then, it’s “vaporware.”

Lol. - stsmarkExplorerI had read that Toyota plans to announce and drive a solid state cell vehicle at the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics. I think that’s why they are so quiet about any BEV plans.
- stsmarkExplorerI just went to the Olympics.org site for 2020 Tokyo games and low and behold there’s a Toyota ad with the tag line Start your Impossible .
- GrooverExplorer III am probably as much for electric cars as anyone here but I see so many headlines about battery breakthroughs that I have come a bit jaded by them. I am confident that batteries will get much better but have decided to take a wait and see approach as to which path that will takes us down. The bigger issue to me right now is the charging network. Will anyone else join the Tesla network or invest in a network even half as good as theirs? And sell electricity at a price competitive with gasoline?
- Impressive report as long as it's correct.
