New Camper... Fresh water doesnt drain unless pump is on?

White plastic should be cold water low point. Red plastic should be hot water low point. White hose should be FW tank drain.

Wait, are you saying that the gazillon labels put on during manufacture might be wrong? Hmmm, gray vs black tank drains, and lets not forget the FOUR labels that warn me my stove might; catch fire, burn the TT to the ground, smoke me out or suffocate me while I'm using it! Interestingly enough no where does it warn me not to light/use stove with the fancy cover thingy covering the burners!

I think maybe I figured it out, all three drains are right next to each other towards the front... the sticker on the top left says fresh water drain, sticker next to that to the right says low point drain, i wonder if the stickers were reversed? and what i thaught was low point drain was really the fresh water drain. this tracer has the heat shield thingy under the frame so its hard to see where the water hoses are coming from, but i can see that the bottom left where i thaught was fresh water drain is like a white plastic pipe, to the right of that is red plastic pipe, and the one to the right of that which i thaught was cold water low point looks more like a drinking water garden hose? would this one be the fresh water drain? if so, then i guess im a dummy. this one all along was draining good, but i thaught the far left one like the sticker says was the fresh drain and that wont drain unless pumps on, i bet that was really the cold water...shame on primetime..LOLOL... hopefully this was it..thanks

doesn't matter what I do, I tried to shut off low shutoff drains, and opening up all faucets, and the supply cap, and still wont drain, only drains when I turn on pump, then it sprays out like crazy

The OP said the faucets were open. I wonder if you don't have another drain for the fresh water tank somewhere and the drain you found that you think is the for the fresh water tank is actually just to drain the pump.

Faucets are much higher than the water tank. Water and poop dont run up hill. Turn off the water pump, open the tank drain and the faucets.

You my be correct. While draining, the OP may want to try opening the fresh water tank filler to let air in.

Close the low point drains, and then drain the fresh tank. I bet it works.

My low point drains will not drain the tank itself either.. Because the low points are not connected to the system in a way that makes it possible.

The only hose from the tank to the system is routed to the pump. The pump draws the water from the tank and thru the system. Simply opening the low points will not pull the water from the tank...

You should have a separate drain plug for the tank itself.

You should be able to drain the hot water tank thru the low points however.. But you will probably have to open the pressure relief valve to do it..
