- thomasmnileExplorerBased on specifications, looks like GM is looking to carve out a piece of the Toyota Rav 4 sales pie. Toyota sold over 427K of them in 2018.
- Blazer and Trailblazer. :-)
It blows me away how many SUV/CUV rigs Chevy has:\
Trax
Equinox
Traverse
Blazer
Tahoe
Suburban
And now the TrailBlazer.
Hard to tell what size it fits between in the list above. I'm guessing between the Trax and Equinox. - colliehaulerExplorer III

Talked to my mechanic today and two of the trucks were 2016. His daughter's truck was covered under factory warranty. A friend with a 2019 Denali did the AFM delete as well.colliehauler wrote:
GM currently has issues as well with the DOD system taking the cam out in V-8 engines.
I thought that by the 2014 model year they had that figured out. I did the AFM delete on my truck and didn't notice a difference in mpgs. - ls1mikeExplorer II

Not sure of the affected year's my independent mechanic had his go out and he replaced the entire engine. His daughter's truck is new enough that had the same issue but is being repaired under factory warranty. The son of a carpenter I utilize has a Suburban that had the same issue. Ford had their cam phaser issue on the 5.4 and GM had the cam issue.colliehauler wrote:

Maybe someone can enlighten us if the issue is resolved and what years are affected.
Updated in 2014 and up. Shouldn't be an issue. - colliehaulerExplorer III
